pico Posted July 4, 2016 Share #1 Posted July 4, 2016 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) I'm not certain that posting this is even mildly important, but for my sweetheart I took a picture of a replica of Columbus' Nina when it docked here. As usual, even though the subject seemed to be at infinity it was not so in the rangefinder, thus my perennial advice - always focus! Not a terribly interesting photo in itself. Sorry the Exif was stripped. Leica Summilux 35mm V2 @ F/5.6 on an M9. . Edited July 4, 2016 by pico

pico Posted July 5, 2016 Author Share #3 Posted July 5, 2016 PS: That's the Upper Mississippi River - where the river is really blue, not brown.
wda Posted July 6, 2016 Share #4 Posted July 6, 2016 Pico, for a subject that close I would not choose infinity setting. Maybe for a wider lens, but not 35mm.

True for wide-angle as well which is why I appreciate Voigtlander's coupled focus 15mm lens.
jankap Posted July 15, 2016 Share #6 Posted July 15, 2016 I would have focussed at the ship. That is the subject. But I think, the different couldn't be seen. Remarkable clouds, by the way. Jan
