Advertisement Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 Hi leica1215, Take a look here Check Battery level. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
matlep Posted June 22, 2016 Share #2 Posted June 22, 2016 There is a battery icon in the upper right corner of the screen. If its not visible, press the info button to cycle through the view options. You wont get any more info than that simple battery level indicator unfortunately.

Bizarrely as you can see from the screen shot it’s not a view option issue — it just seems to have disappeared. Any advice would be much appreciated! Welcome, dear visitor! Follow the instruction above and cycle through the view options: you will see it when you cycle through. Alternatively read the manual for display options. And sadly the menu doesn’t present any options for removing the battery status from all view modes. Any further advice would be most welcome!! Welcome, dear visitor! marchyman Posted September 13, 2020 Share #6 Posted September 13, 2020 Have you tried a camera reset? Is the battery icon also missing when using the viewfinder assuming an appropriate display mode?
iRandom Posted September 14, 2020 Share #7 Posted September 14, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) Is it a genuine Leica or Panasonic battery? I think there may be some circuitry in the batteries which means some off-brands may not be fully compatible.
Bertie Posted September 14, 2020 Share #8 Posted September 14, 2020 No such luck on the reset, it didn’t help. The battery is the original Leica one that came with the camera, but I’ve ordered a new Panasonic, so fingers crossed...

Mine is completely grey. Is that totally charged? or almost empty? Hig issues with the batteries on my new Q3. 3 days of camera off with no usage and batteries are dead.
