Advertisement (gone after registration)

This happened when the 3/2016  LFI issue was released

I still can not buy any newer magazines and the 1960s old LFI issues 

I went to buy an issue to click the buy button
it had the spinning gear for a minute  and eventually timed out error
I have good internet connection
I have tried it through wi fi and  4g networks
Still no better
I tried using on another iPad no better
I even tried un installing the app and reinstalling the app 
I have even tried logging out of iTunes and sign back in again
 
I have even gone to Apple Store and tried to sort it out with the Genius Bar
he installed it on his iPad and still having the same problem on his ipad
I have contacted the LFI support and communicated with them many times 
They are still looking into the the problem
anybody else having the same problem?

I also have a comparable problem. Not on my old iPad 2, but on my iPad mini. I can buy issues with the iPad 2 but not with my iPad mini. Always get spinning wheel and eventually time out error. I don't remember when this occurred during last year. Currently  I'm in touch with somebody (I asked for help trough the LFI website) and I will sent that person pictures of what I get on both iPads when I try to buy an issue. I think the next issue will appear end of February, so I have to wait.

 

My solution until now was buying an issue with my old iPad 2 and afterwards do a restore on my iPad mini. I hope they find a solution because my old iPad 2 memory is almost full and I had an accident with it. The screen is cracked and it's not worth the cost of repair.

 

Hope they can provide a solution.

      Has anybody had intermittent TTL flash issues with the R8?
       I get random firing of the SF-58, particularly with movement of the camera, and sometimes no flash on shutter release. Inside, low light, and with program mode the viewfinder shows f/5.6 @ 1/250 as it should.  Contacts are clean, wiggling the flash at the foot doesn't make it fire.  Camera, flash or the coupling of the two?
      The phenomena does not seem to occur with a SF-24D, though i have no negatives to review yet.  
      R8 serial # 243xxxx.  I've had no other problems with this camera.

      I took a very underexposed shot and tried raising the exposure 3.4 stops, and I expect noise, but what are these horizontal lines? Is it normal? This was taken with my 'new' used LeicaQ. Is this expected? I've never seen this before, and I've definitely shot underexposed before. Should I return this camera? Is it defective? Thank you!

      Last week, I received an email from Leica announcing that Fotopark would closed down shortly. The email contained a voucher code to apply on LFI.Gallery towards 3 free issues of LFI magazine.
      Following the link in the email, I entered my email address and the voucher code on the LFI.Gallery website, and got a message saying a verification email would be sent to me to activate my subscription. It has been several days and I have still not got that email. I have checked my junk mail folder but there is no email there either.
      Subsequently, I tried to register on the LFI.Gallery website, and again got a message saying an verification email had been sent to me. I have not got that email either.
      I have twice written to LFI via the “contact” link on the site, but have not received a reply.
      When I try to login on the site, I get a message saying “please verify your account”. I can’t do that since I haven’t got any verification emails.
      This is very strange and annoying!
      Any ideas or suggestions what I should do next?

      ich habe aber die Suchfunktion zwar schon benutzt, bin aber auf nur wenige für mich relevante Artikel zum Thema Bildbearbeitung von Leica DNGs auf dem iPad gestoßen. Entweder suche ich falsch, oder das iPad scheint nicht sonderlich beliebt für die Bildbearbeitung zu sein. Wie dem auch sei, ich bin auf der Suche nach Tips und Erfahrungen zu dem Thema.
      Seit Jahren habe ich eine M8 und habe meine DNGs immer per CaptureOne auf dem Mac bearbeitet. Allerdings sind meine Macs und auch mein CaptureOne etwas in die Jahre gekommen und letzteres läuft seit einem OS Upgrade nicht mehr. Ich scheue aber die Investition in die neue Software, weil ich dann wohl die Hardware auch bald erneuern müsste. Aber ich habe ein aktuelles iPad Pro, dass mich, wie auch meine M8, auf allen meinen Reisen begleitet.
      Bis jetzt habe ich Apple Fotos und Adobe PS Express auf dem iPad ausprobiert. Allerdings bisher nur mit JPGs. Beides macht weder Spaß, noch bietet es mir die Optionen, die ich gerne hätte, wie Tonwertkurven oder selektive Bearbeitung mit Ebenen oder Masken.
      Hat jemand von Euch dazu relevante Erfahrungen?
