Leica T WiFi; can't connect

Recommended Posts

My Leica T is version 1.5. I bought a new iPhone SE and installed the Leica T app. I can't get the two to work together. I have attached images of the Leica T WiFi menus and the iPhone app. page for the Leica T app.

You will note that Leica T page in settings has 'Leica T Settings' grayed out so that I cannot input the password, etc. from the Leica T Menu wireless connect pages.

What on earth am I doing wrong? Or in the alternative, what should i do right?

Welcome to the club!

Many of us have connection problems; it has been discussed in several threads!

Good luck, anyway; you may find a solution for your case; I didn't for mine!...

Thanks. i did it and the camera recognized the iPhone, but the Leica app. on the iPhone couldn't find the camera. And, yes, I detached the EVF as recommended. I e-mailed Leica technical and they only responded that I need to have version 1.5 which I have.

Additionally, the iPhone Se is also up to date.

Any other ideas?

I figured out what was wrong. The iPhone went back to my router connection.

I reestablished the Leica SSID and, voila, it connected to the camera and the camera connected to the iPhone.

It works.  Fun toy. i’m not sure what I’ll use it for unless the camera is on a tripod, but it’s a nice remote app.

since the camera does not have a cable or remote release.

:)  :)  :)  :)  :) !!
