Here is an interesting article on Leica's new (in 2014) headquarters in Wetzlar.  Since it is an article from 2014, I'm not sure if this has been previously posted or not; if so, apologies for the duplication.

Feeling some pressure i had to go for some photos early this morning.....
Buzzer at 4:30, a cup of coffee  (okay, double double espresso...),  eating while driving and going to the Harz mountains.  Arriving the parking area i was the only one there.... (hours later the road was blocked as there was no more free parking place when i returned). Armed with rucksack, tripod and headtorch i went up to the hills.
      And here are the results.
      Early morning 1

      Hi there,
my name is Wim, I’m from the Netherlands and I am new on this forum. I came here because i bought a Old black leica camera in a thriftstore.

I got curious about the name of the model, if i can make it work, it’s value, and if i could clean and (if needed) repair it myself or if its better to bring it to an expert. I already did some research on the forum but i couldnt find my exact model and lens.

Here are some pictures. I hope you can help me out with some info!
