For people who know this country as you said , the color is really what shows DMR

I shoot now only film with my M7 and MP sometimes with my M8 and M9.

Both CCD sensors come from Kodak and color is also great

... but DMR is "less digital" on picture, it's nicer (a feeling ?) , yes I know it's a digital picture , but I

mean it looks like film  ie "soft"  line and nice vivid color as you show on your pictures above.

A few more Rolls Royce and Bentley cars from the June 2015 Rolls Royce Enthusiasts Club Rally at Burghley Park Stamford. This years 2016 RR rally is again being held at Burghley on Fri 24 June, Sat 25 June and Sun 26 June - free admission and lots of photo opportunities. Several members of the UK Leica Society including at least three or four Leica Forum members will be meeting up at 10.30am on Fri 24 June in the Burghley House small cafeteria to the LHS of the main house entrance - please join us. These photos do not show the main rally marquee area where there are hundreds more RR cars and visitors - including enthusiasts in 'revival' dress/costume.

I feel the CCD Leica S2/S006 come close, I rarely edit... just like with the R8-DMR I had before...

You´re right jip, that´s my finding as well but it's another system which is as heavy as the R8/9-DMR and needs another lenses...

Since I have a nice selection of R-lenses so I want to use them on a newer body which should be lighter and could give the character

of a DMR (but there is none yet).

I have 2 DMRs and 10 batteries so it's fine for now.

Oh yes, the DMR gives me the best feeling of all cameras specially when the files are loaded on the computer.

I have a Nikon 810, Canon 5DII etc...with Zeiss glasses, they are all technically better cameras but everytime

I saw the output then I've asked myself why did I grab these bodies since I knew the result is less pleasant to my eyes???

As you mentioned, the DMR is less digital, produces a sharf/soft images (à la Noctilux) with some nice grain plus the files

are easy to process just a few clicks then the final picture is done.

I think we landed on the Duxford runway but need to check the video taken by a friend to confirm. We boarded the plane on grass and took a long time pre-take-off as it taxied on the grass. Actual flight was probably less than 15 minutes.

First the T9 Spitfire refuelling prior to a 20 minute flight with a passenger in the rear; flight costs £2995 which equates to £150 per minute - which reflects the cost of operating a historic Spitfire. The Dragon Rapide flight costs £39 per passenger but there are 8 passengers and maintenance costs are less.
