Viva, Quba, Rodrigue!

love the tilt :)

What are they offering you?  Doesn't look like a Big Mac :)

Looks like a gorgeous beach.

I'm convinced that viewing beach photos like this is good for the soul :)

It does Adam, Beach photos are good for the soul specially if it's the Caribbean. Unfortunately I went there only once, and it was after a long parade that I followed and covered with a 1000 picture. I was so tired to pull the camera and shoot when on the beach so i only took those!

They are offering a cooked-corn type of food called Tamales. I knew it from when I used to live in Venezuela, it's delicious.

Great, POV.

Is that cola can from the 50's like their cars?

Never hear of that brand before :)

Great colors!

She's drinking FrizedCola, a local drink. CocaCola and CO are not allowed into the island yet, at least not publicly ;-)

I'll bet that the Beruit beaches as quite interesting as well, no?

Did you try some of the Frized Cola?  Curious how it compares to the American contemporary...

Adam,

you beach series is absolutely entertaining, well seen and framed !

Brabu,

I know the place, must be Forte dei Marmi or one of the neighbourhood places. It is one of the best beaches I know with this spectacular Apuan Alpes in the background and those cosy houses, none being higher than the trees. I went there many times and like it a lot. Thanks for making me remember.

very pleasing, Jean Marc.  That M8 does great B&W conversions.

Thanks for contributing, Ian.  Lovely scenes.  Mind sharing the location and gear (at least digital vs film)?  I especially like the last with the mist and crashing waves.

Another 2 for the day :-)

28 Summicron on M7 with Portra 800

fantastic colors, Jean Marc.  For some reason I recalled the last being Ektar.  I guess I am wrong??

Here's one from a Lebanese beach adam, yes they are interesting as you got queen size beds with special mattresses to lay down on the beach, they cost money of course but so comfy :-)

Nothing like the Caribbean though.

Love that shot, Rodrigue!!  And as I remember the color version was lovely as well although the B&W version hit the spot.  Great POV.

Another from me...

Last one was Epson RD-1 (and probably 35 Summicron ASPH). The others (in order) were M9, M9, Monochrom and MP (can't remember the film).
