Firenze / Florence

Beautiful!  I was in Florence two weeks ago during a business trip, and had to hop a train before sundown.  I clearly missed some staggering beauty.  How did you manage to take these photos without showing any people in the shots?

Thank you. It took me quiet a while to find the perfect position. :-)

Thanks Steve. First I didn't notice them at all, but then I saw that they are all over in the city.

I also had my Leica MP with me, so here now a few film pictures that I made with the Kodak Ektar:

Thanks James,

The shots with the dark clouds I made with the Tri-Elmar (WATE), the street sign shots with the Summilux 35.

I have to say that I prefer the CineStill50 to the Ektar 100. Just used both to get a comparison.

Very odd colors for Ektar. Did you have a filter on the lens? Seems quite 'off' from the expected vivid saturation.

Or perhaps expired film?

No, no filter and no expired film... I've scanned it with silverfast.
