My MM is now in Germany for sensor replacement (2 months now)

My question for the forum is, will I just get a replacement sensor or a new anti-corrosion sensor? What is the concensus

Not a consensus, a known fact. Leica has been providing the new type sensor for a while now.

My own experience was that Leica replaced the sensor of my M9 with the new-type one even without me asking, when I sent my camera in for problems with the circuit board. I guess they will replace it with the new one if they deemed it necessary (i.e. they detect signs of corrosion on it)?

Yeah, someone at Leica confirmed my corrosion. This is a typical frame from my MM...
