stuny Posted June 5, 2007 Share #1 Posted June 5, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) In response to Lord Barton’s comment in Barnack’s Bar, “Where are photos of America?” here are 5 of the Washington Monument in Washington, DC. The first is from the new Museum of the American Indian and shows dirt in the sky from the DMR sensor. The other distant shots are from the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, and from the Castle of the Smithsonian. You can see more on the Washington DC pages of our site. elansprint72 Posted June 5, 2007 Share #6 Posted June 5, 2007 Stuart, Are the middle 3 from a D2? If I knew how to read exif I could possibly have worked that out for myself. I'm a big fan of sealed-up fixed lens digi-cams because of the dirt issue.

dan_drabek Posted June 6, 2007 Share #8 Posted June 6, 2007 Gorgeous color and sharpness Stuart. That camera is a keeper. Number two has a particularly nice balance, and the figures help give it scale. DD
