dem331 Posted April 29, 2016 Share #1 Posted April 29, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) I am confused as to what is happening. I am using LR CC. I import my M240 DNGs. To my knowledge I have not set any develop presets (to be honest I do not even know how to do it, in the import window I have none selected under develop settings). The files imported all have different Temp and Tint settings. I interpret this as normal because I have AWB set on the camera (not sure I am right in thinking this). But they also all have +7 Highlights, 25 Amount and Detail sharpening and, in Noise Reduction, 25 for Color, and 50 for Detail and Smoothness. Are these values some king of standard develop imports, general or for the M240, or have I accidentally predetermined these settings? Many thanks for your help. Advertisement Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 Hi dem331, Take a look here Help please. LR develop import settings.. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
dem331 Posted April 29, 2016 Author Share #2 Posted April 29, 2016 Ok, I think I have solved my own question. If I go to Develop / Set Default Settings I can select settings for M240 and they are the ones I described above. So I guess these are the settings I need as a start. Chuck Albertson Posted April 30, 2016 Share #3 Posted April 30, 2016 I think those are the default settings LR uses for files from that camera. It has similar settings for sharpening when it imports my MM files. You can change those settings and save them with Set Default Settings, apply to imports going forward.
