The industrial buildings in the " Spoorzone " are occupied by a Hip Hop festival this 2 juli, so we will only visit the "Pont " : Museum ( one is allowed to take photos there ) and take a stroll though the town.

This is a very good campingsite:

Its about 15 kilometer from Tilburg. Idillic place.

If you want something classy near the canal. I can really recomend " Villa Pastorie " it's near the Harbour of Tilburg. An old Rijnaak Harbour / end of Canal. The restaurant /cafe, has 4 rooms in the renovated 1900 Style with some remains  of 1922-30. It's a ten/twenty minutes stroll tot the centre of the Town and you can even arrive by boat, at the restaurant. It's not Venice, but it's nice:When it's good weather it's very enjoyable to site at the waterfront , or in the garden. We ate there this evening. Must honestly say, the food could be better, but the accomodation is great!

If you are adventurous and want to sit between the House - festival people. In the middle of the town is a City camping. Made for Festivals. You will be between the crowd of hipsters/house /hiphop and party people. Maybe great to take pictures there. :

I was thinking about " De houtloods. " : http://houtloods.com/

It's in the vincinity of the Tilburg Central station: 10-15 minutes walk and in the vincinity of the Pont Museum :10-15 Minutes walk.

I will make a headcount and reserve places in due time. They are renouwned for their great coffee.

They open at 11 am, would that be our meeting time as well?

Its really a pity that I cannot join you on 2nd July, as we have a garden party with our neighbours on that day.

But I will be in Amsterdam from 8-10 July, going to see the European Championship athletics.

If anybody would be interested to meet either on 8 or 9 July in Amsterdam, pls pm me.

Have fun, and maybe next year I will join then!

Cheers

John
