Breslau (Wroclaw) University - 5 pictures

The university of Breslau is a large building at the Oder river and so also a frame of the historic center. A visit is worthwhile from inside. The architecture of the staircase and halls are magnificent. Even if the pantings are not of the best artistic class it makes an impressive sight.

Stunning East-European architecture captured with beautiful lighting. Really nice work. Do they really let students loose in there?

Lovely.  The first three seem a bit light on my laptop

Stuart,

thank you for stopping by and commenting. You may be right and I am afraid my monitor needs a replacement. I am planning to buy an Eizo monitor where calibration will guarantee  a balanced performance on my different applications. When I process in LR and continue with PSE it semmes to be less bright than after being released in the forum.

Gerry,

thank you for your interesting question and adding a nice coment. Yes, one hall is being used for concerts. The part open for the visitors is mainly a museum with odds and ends of research and history in universitarian subjects. The adjacent parts of the huge building are really for the students and they are running about that lace and filling the restaurants around the corner.
