M 262 75mm Summicron

I really screwed up the exposure in this shot, under exposing by over 1 full stop.  Fixed, more or less, in Lightroom.

Good picture for the family album although, from a really critical point of view, I fail to see your focal point. Almost everything seems slightly out of focus. This is one of the dangers of using lenses wide open. A shame because everything important is nearly in focus. Composition is one thing, one thing in focus is the most important. Don't let that stop you. We all do this. Go back and do it better. You are on the way and 95% is good.

There is a huge temptation to want to use lenses wide open. It needs skill and is a modern obsession. Old fashioned photography never had this need and they produced magnificent photos. If you wish to do everything wide open then practice using medium apertures until you always get the focal point correctly focussed ... and be absolutely certain on the focal point.

Best wishes and welcome to the forum.
