The Wilhelm report may be great, but like the website, it is a mess.
Advertisement Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 Hi sanyasi, Take a look here Archival Papers and Inks?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
sanyasi Posted April 19, 2016 Share #22 Posted April 19, 2016 I still have not heard back from Hahnemuhle, but I have gone through the data sheets at the website. Here is a summary of what the sheets say about OBA Content (Please check for yourself and don't rely on this--I have not double-checked it): FineArt Baryta Satin -- No FineArt Pearl—Moderate PhotoRag Satin—Moderate PhotoRag Baryta—None PhotoRag Pearl—None FineArt Baryta—Moderate Baryta FB—Moderate PhotoRag 188, 308, 500 --Very low Rice Paper None Bamboo—None PhotoRag Ultra Smooth—Moderate PhotoRag Bright White—Moderate William Turner—None Albrecht Durer—None Torchon—Moderate German Etching—Very low Museum Etching--None I do note that Hahnemuhle does sell a protective coating, but I have always been afraid of those sorts of sprays for health reasons. Does anyone have experience with them that they could share?
