VictoriaC Posted April 16, 2016 Share #1 Posted April 16, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) Am I missing something? I just want to check... I've checked online and can't see anything, has there been a firmware update? I'm still on 1.0.0.4 and I am surprised that 12 months down the line Leica have made no alterations the camera. Hmm.
Advertisement Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 Hi VictoriaC, Take a look here Firmware on 246. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Jan Pedersen Posted April 17, 2016 Share #2 Posted April 17, 2016 As you, I keep checking daily for a possible firmware update. I have an annoying problem occasionally. After turning the camera on to take the first image, the camera starts the self timer instead of making an exposure. I am hoping that a firmware update would fix that. Joakim Posted April 17, 2016 Share #3 Posted April 17, 2016 Updating firmware isn't exactly one of Leicas strongest traits.
250swb Posted April 17, 2016 Share #4 Posted April 17, 2016 If you have registered your camera with Leica they will send you an email when there is a Firmware update available, or at least that is what has happened in the past.

This does not sound like a software related problem. I rather think it might be a problem with the main switch of your individual camera and I would recommend to have it looked at. Jan Pedersen Posted April 17, 2016 Share #6 Posted April 17, 2016 It might be the switch, you are right. I should send it in for a check before warranty expire.
VictoriaC Posted April 18, 2016 Author Share #7 Posted April 18, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) Yes, the camera is registered and I get emails in general from Leica so I will just carry on as I do. Ho hum. Thank you for the replies.
Joshua Lowe Posted April 18, 2016 Share #8 Posted April 18, 2016 There haven't been any updates. At some point there will probably be an update if for no other reason than to fix the erroneous "check battery age" message.
