Leica Beginner Photographer...Leica XU?

Hello! My names Tyler, I'm State Side Located in Massachusetts. I've had some digital smaller cameras, and I have a DSLR Canon rebel t5i currently. I love the look and the pictures the Leica cameras take. I spend most of my time out side, hiking, rock climbing, archery, building cars riding motorcycles, I just got back from Norway, I travel a lot as well. I feel the Canon just doesn't fit my style, almost to much to take everywhere?. I was looking at the Leica XU cameras, although I'm skeptical about the flash? I just want a camera to fit my style and I feel i can't leave home without it.

The best and only advice I can offer:- Try one out.. Contact your local Leica dealer.  (There is a company that rents out Leica cameras)

Take Manoleicas advice...he's one of our experts.

 

Do a bit more homework, trying out a few different Leicas, wherever you can.  It's a huge leap of faith jumping into this deep pool...and if you can't handle it you may become embittered and spend too much.
