While this is nice, I think it is a bit flat, lacking  whites.  I really like the color version better for this particular photo.  Thanks for pointing it  out for me, though.

Agree: needed more work on the whites. +2/3rd to a full stop would make it better.

Interestingly, I disagree. I think the image represents how a snow scene looks in flat light. Very little light modelling occurs. Compressing the BP & WP would liven it up. All this from one who does not live in a snow country, so I am no expert.
