Funny you should bring those points up...after posting the image I wasn't happy. But deleting and replacing with a new image always gets me in trouble....see below for a redone image. A little lift in the shadows, and add a bit more contrast in the sky. I always like spot work in the dark (light) room. Add light, or take away, for certain parts. ...keep going worth it. This morning when I look at what I posted on my calibrated monitor they indeed look quite poor...so please slap me around if I try to do any half way serious work on the laptop monitor again! You've got nice open shadows without going too HDR (which can make an image look a bit cartoonish).
