B&W pictures on Leica M8

Recommended Posts

I posted this before but am posting again because this was just accepted by LFI for M Master Shots.

Inspired by Tim, I submitted some images to the LFI, and three images were selected for M Master Shots. The attached photo was selected for the Europe category.

Description: From the La Cambe German war cemetery in Normandie, France, with the burials of more than 21.000 of the total of 100.000 soldiers, sailors and airmen that lost their lives during the Operation Overlord. A strong place to be, and an important reminder of one of the darkest moments of our history.

M8 + 21 SEM w/B+W 093 filter.

Still, M8 B&W look too digital when you look at negative M6 or other Analogue photos.

I have both and an M9.  I use On One software and sometimes I get the M8 photos to near negative look. I don't like the too digital clean look.

I really don't think that it looks too digital, especially in B&W.
