While I'm not a power user of the touch screen, it does have its place IMHO. Especially so for the touch + release focus and shutter actuation. This enables or parallels using the remote control feature on the iPhone app. To me that is invaluable for street photography. Furthermore, I expect to use this for photographing hummingbirds this summer by placing my Q on a tripod near a feeder then using the iPhone remote and display to capture images in focus. Time will tell if that actually works. My 2 cents.

It's a pleasure to read such a professional review of what is obviously a really remarkable camera and (while I'm sure you know this) your images are a delight.
