I have read some of the replies on how to fake wear on a Leica.  I suppose there is accompanying gear that can be distressed to look war-torn, battered and "pro-used."  Lots of effort.  Effort to pretend to be something one is not.  Maybe an old army field jacket would add to the dress-up.  Yeah, dress up yourself and your camera to pretend to be what you are not.  My simple mind says the time would be better spent improving technique.  And there I go, out of step again.  I am what I am, no more, no less, not even a pretend photographer.  Good luck to hose dressing up for the role, though.
