pwsmith Posted January 2, 2016 Share #1 Posted January 2, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) I just upgraded my firmware to 1.43 and the visoflex stopped working. It senses my eye, since the lcd blacks out, but there is no image on the evf. No problems immediately prior to the update. The update was from a very old firmware - 1.1 or something. I have cleaned the contact points, taken out the battery and reinserted it, and everything else I can think of to restart the system but nothing works. Any advice would be appreciated. Advertisement Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 Hi pwsmith, Take a look here Visoflex bug with new firmware. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
pwsmith Posted January 2, 2016 Author Share #2 Posted January 2, 2016 I should have added that after the upgrade all camera functions are fine, with that one exception. I also tried to redo the firmware upgrade with a new memory card but just got the "firmware is to date" message.
Batman57 Posted January 2, 2016 Share #3 Posted January 2, 2016 Have you set the menu for the EVF? It may have happen that the new fw has cancelled the profile settings. Try to re-set your preferred EVF settings. all the best.
jdlaing Posted January 2, 2016 Share #4 Posted January 2, 2016 If everything else works I would suspect a bad Visoflex.

gbealnz Posted January 16, 2016 Share #8 Posted January 16, 2016 Nor I. Apart from the form factor, fitting the camera with Viso into a small case. Apart from that, happy with the Visoflex. Gary
fejling Posted January 30, 2016 Share #9 Posted January 30, 2016 Has anyone who has installed the new 1.4x firmware noticed if it has improved the time it takes to switch over to the EVF when you bring the camera up to your eye? Thanks.
