In our city we have a nice Christmas Market and I go there often (every year with a new camera as it seems) to shoot my Christmas Cards. That day it rained but it did no harm to the Q although it god a bit wet and had to be wiped a few times.

Iduna, I like these shots very much; more specially the first one!... I can smell Christmas!

Louis,

thank you. I found the "moose" (Rentier) so kitschy....

Stuart,

yes, no 1 is more appealing, you are right. Thanks

Nice shot...I like the first one. The Christmas Tree is almost overlayed...it gives the shot separation, the tree....the couple in back and of course, you captured the rain well in the light....jim

Hello Iduna,

Nice photos.

I prefer the first photo because it is a photo of a scene that we are a part of. Altho we are at the edge of the scene. In the second photo we are observing a separate scene that we are not a part of.

Best Regards,

Michael

It is always so rare to find a good Xmas decoration with good taste... But I guess being "kitschy" is more and more becoming a part of the end of the year decorations!

Thank you all, my friends for your detailed comments. That's what I like about this Forum.

I agree, the first shot is better

Jim, Michael, Louis - thank you so much for your helpful reviews and your time.
