All shot on 35mm Kodak Portra 400 with a Leica M6 & 35mm Summicron IV lens. Scanned by myself with a Pakon 135+

Nice set indeed! There's something about film that I can't quite put my finger on, it has a quality that's hard to replicate!

great set. Portra film has a special color palette which has a lot of appeal for me.

 

My favorite shots are the night one with the driver and the guy sitting in a wooden box with the cats.

a very appealing series with interesting frames, not only reportage but each one with care for the subject and its glamour. This type of shots leads us back to earlier decades in the best sense. You cannot create this feeling with digital files.

Interesting set. #3 and #6 and the last image tell the story of the story true to the characteristics of the city, IMO. It's also great to see Portra in use!

Also I have been told that supposedly the Prophet Muhammad declared the cat his favorite animal, which is why cats tend to get a little extra love in Turkey
