dwphoto Posted December 11, 2015 Share #1 Posted December 11, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello all - Need some help here. I've gone into my settings and moved the auto focus from the shutter release to the joystick. I've set it so it is supposed to disable the auto focusing at the shutter release and only work from the joystick, however it still works on the shutter release. It works on the joystick as well. In the Customize Control, then AE/AF Lock Button, then AF Mode, I hit AF-L, which is supposed to take it off shutter release, but it doesn't. Has anyone run into this? Any solutions? Thank you. ramarren Posted December 11, 2015 Share #2 Posted December 11, 2015 Setting the joystick to AF-L enables activating AF by pressing it. To remove AF from the shutter release, set the camera into MF mode; the AF/AE button will still activate AF. In the little I've used the zoom lens so far, this is my favorite way of configuring the camera ...
