Leica SL app

Has anybody had experience with this app? 

I can ger the same picture on my iPad as on the back of the SL but I can do nothing, not change aperture or take a picture. And the connection breaks. The iPad is close to the SL.

Help please!

Hmm. I have used the Leica SL app a few times. Set ISO, set aperture, set shutter speed, set exposure mode, touch focus ... take picture. Review pictures and transfer to device. Seems to work very nicely.

 

I'm running it from either an iPad mini 3 or iPhone 6, both running iOS 9.2.

Works OK for me but I do wish the spirit level display was available on the remote screen.

I seem to have hit on some instability in the setup – me, SL or App. Now it works, anyway most of the time. 

The possibility to use the iPad as a viewfinder is convenient to me when working on a tripod close to the ground. The SL does not have a tilting monitor nor the angling EVF of the M.
