earleygallery Posted December 6, 2015 Share #1 Posted December 6, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) The SL is mentioned in a Sunday Times Xmas gift guide today. They show a photo of the SL and zoom, and say "…housing a DSLR quality sensor in a body the size of a regular compact". Price £5050 (they forget to mention that's the body only!). Who the hell writes these things?

Who the hell writes these things? Christmas Gift? The average Sunday Times reader must be very well heeled to spend £5,000 body only for a Christmas Gift! JonPB Posted December 7, 2015 Share #5 Posted December 7, 2015 I suspect including the 5000 pound camera makes the 500 pound kitchen appliance on the next page look mighty affordable, not to mention the 50 pound coffee sampler. Everyone wins, right? Sometimes I think the only good thing about Christmas is a bit of reading from Dylan Thomas. Cheers, Jon
