I recently took the SL on a fishing trip to the Farquhar Atoll in the Seychelles. My guide was taking photos of my fish and accidentally submerged the entire camera in the tide. He managed to fire off this shot underwater, inadvertently proving its water resistance. The SL survived completely unscathed.

yes, unfortunately. I gave it a good rinse in freshwater afterwards, and brushed the exterior of the mounting ring as to avoid any corrosion. fingers crossed.
