CharlesL Posted May 29, 2018 Share #582 Posted May 29, 2018 Perar 21/4.5 at f/5.6 on M240. Slight crop on right because of purple flare, still partly visible. Dark at top left because taken through a chain link fence.
CharlesL Posted May 29, 2018 Share #583 Posted May 29, 2018 M262 and 21mm f3.4 Super Elmar from today.. You used green and blue and composition to get a fine mood in the next to last one, the lake through the trees with a single boat. On post processing, by the time the image got to the Web, halos from sharpening are present; also, you might level the photo.

pico Posted May 30, 2018 Share #588 Posted May 30, 2018 But they are plastic. But I know they produce casein which was used a hundred years ago to make plastic products.
farnz Posted May 30, 2018 Share #589 Posted May 30, 2018 farnz, your picture shows exactly what is wrong with digital. The cows look so plastic! Jac, I think it must be the astroturf they feed them on. I noticed that they were glassy-eyed and didn't move at all while posing for their portrait but I'd put it down to their being well-trained livestock ... or perhaps I should say 'polymerstock'? Pete.
farnz Posted May 30, 2018 Share #590 Posted May 30, 2018 But I know they produce casein which was used a hundred years ago to make plastic products. Yes it was whey long ago. (I'll get my coat.) Pete.

Raid Amin Posted June 24, 2018 Share #593 Posted June 24, 2018 Everything is big in Alaska M1009491-Lowres-2.jpg M-P 240, Voigtlander VM 15 III Beautiful and sharp from edge to edge. Unlike my images from the 16/8 Holigon!
gbealnz Posted June 25, 2018 Share #594 Posted June 25, 2018 Beautiful and sharp from edge to edge. Unlike my images from the 16/8 Holigon! And at a different price point too Raid. LOL I do wonder though if the "look" would be more suited to film? Either way, the images speak for themselves, sometimes a bit of "fault" is for the better. Raid Amin Posted June 26, 2018 Share #595 Posted June 26, 2018 Yes, the look of the Hologon should come out best with film, Images should also be sharper then I think. I will try it out myself. The Hologon was never designed for a digital camera. I have sharp lenses, and I wanted a new lens to try out.
