Strong winds resulted in many broken umbrella this past week in Amsterdam.

The image wasn't exactly what I was expecting - preconceived ideas, I suppose.

Looks like lots of discarded cigarette butts too, no doubt a result of the indoor smoking ban taken up in numerous European countries.

I'm glad it wasn't what you were expecting Steve. There is still a lot of smoking in Amsterdam, but virtually all outdoors now (except for the coffee shops and bars).
