Early (read-through) rehearsals for Martin McDonagh's play The Pillowman. (That's Martin McDonagh as in Three Billboards....). A bit dark. And I suspect it will get darker by the end of rehearsals.

SL + 24-90SL and 90-280SL

Writing the confession (90-280SL)

"Yes, I'm the bad cop" (90-280SL)

"Yes, those are the chopped off little toes...." (24-90SL)

Since I acquired the Summicron-SL 75 and 90 lenses, the 24-90 has not gotten much play, but I took it out today, and was reminded of what a terrific, versatile lens it is.  (24 MM, f 2.8, 1/1000, ISO 50)

Testing.... Sunset at 60 deg N. SL+400mm APO-Telyt-R f2.8 at f5.6 w/1.4x APO-Extender-R. Impressive sharpness  w h e n  camera shake is eliminated (therefore electronic shutter w/delay, sturdy tripod, etc). Distance is slightly more than 1400 m, and I can clearly see the type of lamp screens in the living rooms in the long, white building in the lower, right corner of the image. Quite impressive for a lens made almost 30 years ago.
