Le Corbiere/ Jersey Island (UK) -2- same Location in the morning

A very nice set.  I can't imagine how that house at the lower level survives!

Thanks- this pic was taken at very high tide and wind at about 110km/h - so it was a very special situation and not that kind of normal even for the locals-> there were several photographers to take photos of this unique situation

Yes, I went and googled and and realised that soon after looking at your picture.  Yours is quite a dramatic picture!

Rainy day at south costal side of jersey, low tide - so the ladies had to go a longer way at about 6°C and wind at 40km/h

Please allow me an agriculural sidekick.... as this island has nearly no frost even in january the daffodils are beginning to blossom.... and the potatoes are to be put into the ground. As you can imagine the fields are smaller on an island ( and smaller than i am knowing....) this is handmade (!)

Top 2 photos were taken with the TL18mm pancake lens on the SL 601.

Bottom photos showing the lens on the SL was taken with CL. A very light option on the SL.

Interesting combo Rob. Nice shots.

Thanks, Graham. The size is really a pleasure, and that's the main reason to get the 18mm TL pancake. If you are out with the SL, the lens fits quite comfortably in one's pocket, and is a nice light option. (Of course, apsc and 10-12 mb files). Rob

Le Pinacle Jersey (UK)  - i am NOT suprised why the the prehistoric guys more than 6000 years ago placed their tombs there, it looks like a natural theatre.... magic place to be.

I like your pictures from Jersey. It looks good that you did not lighten the depth so excessively.
A lot of people use the possibility to recover the depth too much…

Thanks, i am trying to work more carefully with the RAW Data to give it a more natural touch,  actually there is some kind of "fashionable phenomenon"  not ony in landscape photography to show pictures razor sharp and "fancy" colored... and that´s what i do not like....

not Landscape but BW  from Jersey (SL with 28mm Lux and polarizer)
