The 90 Summicron-SL is almost as sharp wide open as it is at f/4, almost.

ISO 200 f/4 @1/400 sec.

Red Lips at f/2 at slightly different angle now to show the shallow DOF of the lens more clearly.

ISO 200 f/2 @1/1250 sec.

wow, did you use a nd filter to get so much detail? lovely shots the first one is so long I gotta scroll down to see it all :)

thanks for the comment! I routinely use focus stacking when huge range of interest doesn't allow single shots, usually at f/8 and from 3 to 7 separate exposures and focus blending using Zerene Stacker.

My wife with her Fuji last night at family Christmas party. Come on leica we need a fast 35mm SL AF lens. Thought they were promised in 2018. Her Fuji has the 35mm f1.4 on it.

The only Fuji lens I kept and I don’t even own a body anymore. Two of my wallpapers on my MacBook are with this lens. Not as sharp as the 35 Summicron-TL wide open in the corners and the build quality feels a bit cheap but the rendering is so nice.

Problem for me is if I use the 35TL on the SL I am only getting a 10mp picture (approx)

Yes, the promised and then pathetically delayed 35 F2 Leica SL lens has made me come very close to giving up on the system all together
