Just got the 16-35 SL lens from Ken Hansen. Amazing. I thought the CL was great but the SL is a step up in my view.

well duh! the SL + that zoom is something like 3x more than a CL plus a TL zoom. But seriously, your kit is my fantasy combo and produces the finest pictures I've ever seen short of a MF (the Hassie 50). Enjoy and produce other amazing images!

I am in Savannah, GA visiting family for the Thanksgiving Holiday.  As soon as I got settled in, I grabbed my camera and took to the streets hoping to find something of interest, and I did.  I ran into a section of a main thoroughfare that had been blocked off for the filming of a live action remake of Disney's animated classic, "Lady and the Tramp."  It felt odd standing there in short sleeves looking at all that "snow" and watching the actors moving around in heavy coats.  Here is one shot I was able to squeeze in before being admonished.

Graham, Congratulations on the SL. Yes, a definite step up. Not sure whether you are going to try the SL 50 1.4, but it is special. But so are all the other native SL lenses.

Thanks I got the 90mm f2 and am thinking the next purchase will be the 50mm f2 when it comes out just for the size. You have me thinking about the f1.4 though. Your images with it are fabulous

files like this just don't work at 500kb, some similar shots I have posted look terrible on this site

To get good rendition on the forum you need to sharpen a fair bit and save as a jpg using the maximum allowed dimensions and size. Using the 500k limit at the full allowed size does produce a bit poorer image ...... 1000k is preferable ...... the modest yearly subs to allow this also helps Andreas keep the forum going ......

On the old forum you could link to photos elsewhere which bypassed the restriction ...... but I suspect the current forum resizes (and degrades) them as the original loophole was an oversight....
