Tribute to M. I am just in the process  to construct a  book with flowers in square format  (most Leica pictures). Just for myself and some people I like.   Not always feasible because of the different format of the cameras, but often. The following two pictures will perhaps be a part of this book. Both have been made with the SL.

What a beautiful location. Must be nice at later time too…
I would want to take a shot in Backlit situation with some mist and lightrays…

The redwood forest is magnificent!  Since you have commented, I have taken the liberty to post this one below taken with my S 007. The size and grandeur of the forest is something to behold. Trees over a thousand years old. Thank you for the compliment. Rob

A vain orchid - SL and 24/90.  Sqare format because picture will be used in a book only with sqare format pictures and because I like this format for many photos of flowers.

Taking the 16-35 for a walk. Decently balanced on the SL, if a bit heavy (superb optics - whatcha gonna do?)

Beautiful Giants...
I still cant imagine that they logged these trees by handsaw…
Too bad that so many big trees were felled.
But our grand grand parents thought there are endless resources.
