My first post with my new SL and 90mm f2 SL lens. Trying to get used to the weight after using CL for the last year.

Cheers mate.

I have asked a similar question on the digital forum about MBA verses iPad Pro.

I need something for traveling and editing on the go, I currently use a MBP but its a PITA to travel with but it also handled the large H6D files quite easily, so I'm looking for something powerful enough for large files and small enough to not be a PITA if you know what mean

Neil

@NW67 Neil, not my prime use camera but I often process H5D-50C files in the same way on my iPad Pro

In my haste to include a photo with my previous reply, I inadvertently posted a CL shot.

Atonement is herewith attached, in the form of bug porn . . . 😉

SL with R 80-200mm f/4 + APO-Extender-R 2X . . .

I'm contemplating buying the R adapter to use my long R lenses and 2x. How long did it take you to focus on this? What ISO and shutter speed did you use? Do you think that you could track and focus on birds in flight with that combo? Can focus be done quickly enough?

I think I found the limit of the 24-90. I'm pushing the enlargements of the image beyond their intended size.

I need to go bigger optically so I don't have to zoom in and crop so much.

Something completely different...wanted to do a new promo photo for my other live as guitar player in an acoustic duo. So here is a collage of a portrait of the singer and a selfie of myself. Collage done in PS with black&white conversion in Silver Efex Pro. The lighting for the portraits were 2 Elinchrom strobes, one with a large Octabox and the other with a grid from behind to give some highlights on the hair. The lens was the VE 2,8-4/24-90mm and for the selfie I used the SL app to set up the camera and then starting a series with pics every 5 seconds while I started playing...
