No, not Schefflera. But I am not so sure, what it really is. It are small branches of a tree - and normally they should be from a cherry tree.

They are put into a vase with water and kept on a warm place inside. But we have bought these branches on a market - therefore I am not so sure, if they are realle branches of a cherry tree. Today the first branch has shown some blossoms and I will upload some macros in the comming days. Here a first

glance on it:

...  I am still playing with the idea of swapping the APO for the Summilux SL 1.4 or a Noctilux 0.95 but will need to do more low light shooting to decide if that's the right move.

Dr. G,

I have all three, and I would not think of parting with any one of them.  I primarily use the APO on the M246 - a perfect match, and I use the Summilux and Noctilux interchangeably on the SL; the Summilux when I want to travel small and light, and the Noctilux when I am looking for the magic.

Why is the forum downsizing my files?

Summilux SL is different than the Summilux M. It’s certainly not small and light relative to the Noctilux.

A pure photo - macro with SL, 24/90 and Marumi 5 diop. of wood - the next step in processing and the end product.

You are right. I see now that the OP was not referring to the Summilux M. I do not own the Summilux SL. I see no need for it personally since I have the three M 50s I mentioned above.

A real photo, no software creation. White balance was changed before I took the photo and in postproduction the saturation was enhanced. With SL and 24/90. My name for it is sunrise - although the photo has nothing to do with the sun.

All are quite small blossoms, but the 120 S Macro makes them dramatic.  EXIF data available on Flickr site.

Why is the forum downsizing my files?

see here .....  https://www.l-camera-forum.com/forum-10/announcement-17-reminder-about-resizing-photos-for-posting-updated/

the forum tries to keep photos a reasonable size to avoid clogging up bandwidth with enormous image files .... not everyone has a fast broadband connection .....

there are ways of circumventing this though ......

Thanks Rob. I have almost all the 50’s and the SL50 is a uniquely special lens. The imagine the 50APO at f1.4 with more 3D and flawless bokeh - No CA

Yes, for sure.

After seeing Chaemono's posts for the last few months I became convinced as to how nicely the lens rendered. I'm quite thrilled with it.
