Battery interhcangeable with Panasonic one?

Sorry if this has been asked before but I noticed that the Q uses the BP-DC12 battery which is essentially the same battery as the Panasonic DMW-BLC12. Has anyone used the Panasonic battery or does the Q give an error message when attempting to do so?

I've been using 3 Lumix batteries along with one Leica battery, they perform the same. I prefer the Lumix charger as well as it has a built in plug rather than a cord which is more convenient for travel.

Using the Panasonic battery and no issues at all, it is 100% identical other than the writing on the outside.

I've had two non-Leica, non-manufacturer-specific batteries in use since August.  The important specification is that they fit because they are physically equivalent to  type BLC12 and have the correct 7.2v and a power capacity of between 1000 and 1800 mAh.  No problems charging these in the Leica charger.

So I have noticed a Duracell equivalent on Amazon for about £20.  A highly reputable brand.  I suppose that this must be a good option?  Cheaper than a Pana original and much cheaper than a Leica

I have two BLC12, works Like the original Leica, no problems.
