Snapshot Mode

In Snapshot mode (S), could someone be kind enough to look at their M8/M8.2 camera and record what the settings would be (according to Leica's software) that appear on the LCD panel?

I am looking for the suggested aperture (f),  pre-set focus distance and the probable depth of field for these lens focal lengths:

Example (only): 21mm, f4, pre-set focus @ 6 ft/1.75m, 4-10ft/1.2-3m

21mm

24mm

28mm

35mm

Thanks in advance!

Just so you know, S mode is only for the M8.2, unless there is an option in the menu for it, which if so I cannot find it.

Would my M8's auto mode settings do you any good?

Oh-- and if you don't mind me asking, why do you need this info?

Snapshot mode does not have access to the lens setting.

FAPP all you can muck with is saturation, and date, time and language.

When you turn off Snapshot mode, menu shows your last settings.

To be thorough I should (or you could) look at the EXIF data for snapshot images.

I might do that in a minute or two.

SuperSixONE-

I only had the M8.2, and assumed the M8 had it as well. I no longer have the M8.2, which is why I was requesting help from our fellow forum members who currently own an M8.2.

I now have an M9 with a 21mm lens and while playing with the depth of field, I was curious whether the hyperfocal distance settings as marked on my lens were similar to the preset suggestions in the M8.2's Snapshot mode. (I am referring to the simplified graphic that is displayed on the LCD when in Snapshot mode and not from any EXIF data).

Thanks!
