Autumnal landscape with photographer

This is a park which belongs to an attraction of a rock formation from the ice age moraine. It is an hour's drive from my home so one can be there at 7 a.m. very easliy. But recently I found myself not being the only photographer there. Somebody else enjoyed this early morning bliss as well.

I just love it. Everything in this shot is very appealing; the composition, the colors, the light in the fog, the "scene" and the photographer. This is the kind of photo that I would certainly miss as I am not an early-riser, and knowingly miss great lights !

Dee,

many thanks for your nice response.

Louis,

I admit that I am also not an early riser and prefer night  sessions. Each time I went for an early trip I enjoyed it very much and can tell that the quality of an early morning light is quite different from sunset. So, getting up at 5 a.m. leave the house at 6 a.m., be at the location at 7 a.m. works perfectly in the darker season. In  summer you have to be much earler then.

Wonderful and unusual composition. Nice how you put so much of the slope in the picture, that all variations in light get the chance to show off.

Loch Lomond is a beautiful loch, and I love to stop there on my way from Glasgow to Glencoe & the Isle of Skye, when I have a chance. Here a sunset on the Loch, a 1/5 second photograph taken in 2018 with my (then) Leica SL, Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra filters:

Feeling some pressure i had to go for some photos early this morning.....
Buzzer at 4:30, a cup of coffee  (okay, double double espresso...),  eating while driving and going to the Harz mountains.  Arriving the parking area i was the only one there.... (hours later the road was blocked as there was no more free parking place when i returned). Armed with rucksack, tripod and headtorch i went up to the hills.
      And here are the results.
      Early morning 1

Today I took a trip out to continue my efforts to "recentre" my work away from street photography. At the moment it is difficult because I am having fairly severe problems walking, but this is one of the resulting images:
