Focusing when the VISO / EVF is attached.

I realize that manual focusing works well when the VISO is attached.

Is there any way to use automatic focus when the VISO is attached?

I doubt it, especially as the screen goes to black as the eye approached the VISO.

Just wondering.

In manual focus with the VISO on board, is there any way to toggle between X3 and X6 magnification?

Auto-Focus, as in touch the screen and focus/expose automatically? I don't think so, but to me this is a gimmick anyway.

But in any event you are either going to use the LCD (in which case the auto-focus auto-expose thing works), or the Viso, in which case you cannot "touch".

I use the Viso when I have the manual M lenses mounted, and toggle from zero magnification, through 3x, and then 6x magnification via the "left thumb wheel". Simple, and intuitive.

Gary that does sound simple the way you are using the M manual lenses with the T and Viso on. Now that I have that I can say it is a pleasure to use because apart from the SL which I tried in the Leica shop Zürich, the Viso gives the T a viewfinder with excellent adjustment. I can for the first time, adjust Viso to my eyes, whether or not I use my reading or distance glasses or neither. Could not do that with my Sony A7RII.

Yeah Stephen, my eyes are old, so I just wind the diopter correction to suit, and peer over the top of my glasses. It is how I use my "finders". The M6 R/F is not as easy, but we are talking T and Viso here.

This setting makes it a pain for others to use my camera, this I actually consider a bonus, LOL.
