I've posted a similar image of Stamford Meadows viewed from St Mary's Bridge at sunset when 'snapped' using a Leica C compact http://www.l-camera-forum.com/topic/252668-the-sunset-thread-open-for-all/?p=3179788.

Four weeks later on February 4 using a Leitz 21mm f4 Super Angulon R with a Sony A7S a different result was obtained - this is cropped from the 'vertical portrait format' original.

In my opinion, a sunset image ought to be left as it comes out of the camera, or it becomes a "painting of a sunset". That's just me ....don't mean to start that PP or Not controversy again.

Thanks; fair enough

That's what I got with this one:

Straight out of camera, and how I saw it. Very happy with M.

Arches NP...................but with a twist. Taken with my back to the setting sun, shooting directly East to show the effect of the setting sun on the clouds and mountains.
