Well, Today I had the SL Bundle in my hands like for an 1.5 hrs.

I'm not a guy that write reviews but I just want to share my very personal experience and possible to read more about the impressions of other people that has test the camera.

1) Weight: Yes is a little heavy but not as any of the BIG C and N with their 24-70. For me will not be a problem since what I want to use the camera requires tripod 90% of the time.

2) Ergonomics: For my hands (I consider my hands M size) it feels very comfortable to hold it and I can normally modify settings with my thumb and with the index the Aperture and Shutter.

3) Menus: Is crazy, has a lot options but nothing complicated. Is very similar than the S so it was not very time consuming for me to learn how to navigate but coming from another systems for some people can create a little confusion.

4) Love the idea about the touch screen. It work flawless.

5) Viewfinder excellent, and when using manual focus lens together with the peaking is fast to achieve the focus.

6) The Auto-Focus is fast and with the navigation button i can place comfortably the spot where I want it.

7) The App on my iPhone work flawless with the camera (Not like the T that...nah, forget it)

8) Talking about the quality of the images, so far are sharp, it controls very good the highlights and the shadows. No visible CA. I will say that across the different focal lengths is constant the sharpness across the frame ( I open the images in LR saw them without Sharpening.) and the DR is better than my C5DMIII and similar as my SA7R but I'm not specialist on this so I judge based on my eyes and taste and with the final firmware I don't know if can change.

9) I used the AWB and is a little to warm for my taste but not big deal.

Now, for me was very important to try 3rd party lenses and I use my Canon TS-E 24mm II and the TS-E 17mm and see how they behave.  I used a Fotodiox EOS to Leica M and the M to T. My lenses were pre-set at F11. For my surprise and compare with the SL 24-90 @ 24mm @ F11, it is around 95% vs the native SL lens. The image is colder by 500 Kelvin out of the camera and yes, is present softened edges but in the centre is very good and the rest of the of the frame is good.

I'm very please with the general experience and now I will play with the files to see how much I can push the images.

Will I buy it?...Based on user experience, Yes. I only need to play with the pictures then have my last word.

Interesting about the Canon lenses on the SL. I would have some interest in this too, given my considerable collection of EF lenses. Just a point observed from those who have adapted the TS-E lenses to Sony a7 cameras: the adapter thickness is extremely critical for achieving optimum across-frame performance. This is due to the use of floating elements in some of the TS-E designs. If the adapter is the incorrect length (most 3rd party adapters are slightly too short), it throws off correct infinity focus and results in the floating element positioned incorrectly relative to the actual focus distance (vs. the focusing ring focus distance). In other words, I wouldn't let the soft edges deter you without first determining if adjustment to the adapters is required for correct infinity focus.

You are correct about the adapter. So far the Metabones adapter for the Sony A7 series hit under my point of view the sweet spot and holds the IQ and Resolution demanded by the 36MP (I don't know the case of A7rII). In the case of adaptor for Leica the thickness of the M to T plus the Novoflex EOS to M is very similar than the Metabones. The results are not bad and the question as always will remind there about a good performance if someone come with a dedicated adapter EOS to SL (Hope they do).
