there was a thrush singing a morning tune and I could enjoy a morning meditation beore going to work. Why do we have to comply to this modern sort of slavery then at all ?

Iduna,

This is probably the best time of year for lots of great landscape photography, especially you are in a place that experiences the season. It looks like you are taking full advantage and this is a lovely set.

I particularly love #3, the composition creates a sensation of space that's quite pleasing.

How fortunate you are to have such a beautiful route to work, Iduna!

I was out yesterday taking photos of similar trees in a local arboretum. I haven’t processed them yet but, if they turn out half as well as yours, I shall be well pleased.

Thank you all guys for stopping by and your nice comments:

Euston,

I am sure they will come out nicely and please post them so that we can have a share.

Jaap,

yes, it is very attractive and a pure goldrush this year.

Stuart,

we can enjoy so much if we keep our eyes open. Thanks a lot.

Dave,

nice to have your encouragement. Thank you.
