Regardless of focal length , do you have a favorite lens for B&W on the M8 ?

i love the special look of my canon 50/1.4 ltm.

but it is not my favorite focal length, and it´s not so fast to handle compared to my 28 elmarit or 35 cron which i prefer for street.

Have a look at the Canon 35/2.8 LTM. These lenses can be found for next to nothing, and have a very pleasing contrast curve for B&W.(and are sharper than the Leica offerings of the period)

21mm f/3.4 Super-Angulon-M. Fabulously sharp centrally, still good at the edges due to the crop factor, quirky and fun to use. None of the corner colour issues in B&W obviously . Its a 'classic' little lens.

My voigtlander 28 and 21mm give beautiful results in both color and bw. Compares very favorably with summicrons at 1/3 the price

40mm Summicron is my favourite and only lens for everything on the M8.
