bencoyote Posted October 23, 2015 Share #1 Posted October 23, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) I've had the T pretty much since I was able to buy it off the street and I've been keeping notes about what I like and don't like about the camera. Here is my wish list for the hardware design for the T2 or whatever they call it. Things that couldn't be fixed in a firmware update: More subtle physical design thumb grip (got that) index finger overhang (didn't get this - really c'mon just change the CNC program a little bit) Slight texture difference between left and right thumb dials. (the dials on the SL are not next to one another so it doesn't matter as much) Charger that takes high powered USB 12W, USB-C, or 12v as well as AC. (I don't know. This is one of my questions for Leica. I haven't seen an answer for this in any of the reviews.) Faster processor to allow more FPS (Got that) M-Adapter with cam to record focal length (didn't get this - but who knows maybe they'll make a new version.) Built in EVF (got that) Rangfinder style (didn't get that) 2.36MP is is great! (better than I hoped for) - Needed for older eyes where it is hard to see if screen is in focus Needed for good manual focus Needed for stability - holding a camera closer to your body is more stable than viewing distance for a screen Willing to sacrifice in-camera flash & smaller screen. continue to include the GPS (got that) Don't need the flash in the camera - move to hotshoe (got that) IS either IBIS or lens OIS (got OIS in the lenses) Weather & dust sealed (got that)
Advertisement Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 Hi bencoyote, Take a look here SL vs. T a longer view. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
A B Posted October 23, 2015 Share #2 Posted October 23, 2015 (edited) 10. I would add a small joystick like the one they put in the SL to quickly move a single focus point. And yes for the integrated EVF! Edited October 23, 2015 by A B
