pico Posted December 22, 2015 Share #21 Posted December 22, 2015 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Conclusion - do not be perturbed/scared/whatever by forum posts if you have a dead pixel/line issue. Four weeks turnaround In my opinion that is just plain silly. Mapping dead or stuck pixels is something the owner should be able to do in-camera in a minute. I have a few stuckies and use a Photoshop action which fixes them in post-processing, in batch, all at once because I'm not about to ship my camera away for a month or more. . Advertisement Posted December 22, 2015 Posted December 22, 2015 Hi pico, Take a look here How many have you dealt with a red line/dead pixel issue?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
bideford Posted December 22, 2015 Share #22 Posted December 22, 2015 Like it or not you cannot remap dead pixels/lines in-camera "in a minute". Evidently fixing in Photoshop post processing is not everyone's cup of tea (or mine - actually, I find this suggestion silly but who gives a jot anyway). Obviously YMMV but thanks for your helpful comment. Clearly we all wish pixel remapping was easier but that is not the way with the M8. I hope my posts were helpful to others with a similar outlook though. James
