Screen mode changing

I have chosen horizon in set up. When I change the screen display by pressing the center button, then I get the chosen horizon, but the menu also changes to video mode with the video icon at the top, and remaining video time at the bottom right, and not the number of pictures remaining.,

Is that correct?

I have had my camera replaced because of a battery draining, and if I remember this was not the case with the first camera.

Hope some of you can clarify this for me.

Strange. on mine you can get the horizon on the photo info screen but not in video mode (don't use it anyway but just tried it for you). You have 3 screen modes 1. Full screen 2. photo info screen 3. video info screen

Funny, mine screen mode are : 1. Full screen, 2. video info screen with horizon, 3. photo info screen.

When I have turned the horizon off, my screen modes are as yours.

It seems there are small differences in the firmware .

Sooner or later there will come an update for fixing some or all bugs.

So what firmware is your camera showing. It would seem very odd that you only get the horizon in video display mode and not in photo display mode

It is version 1.0

I have just resat the camera, removed the battery and now it is "normal" concerning to screen modes.

Electronics ???????
