The Acme Made bag is still available on Ebay uk for £6.90 (~$10 + post) and I agree is superb! I got one for my Leica X 113 and it fits extremely well with room for the Visoflex too, space for a couple of filters and cards etc. Very well made!

You might consider the Wotancraft RYKER. Extremely well made. List price $379 USD.

Steve Huff and Kristian Dowling have some great youtube reviews of the RYKER.

Another vote for Wotancraft, just amazing quality stuff  - got a Paratrooper for my Q setup, but the Ryker and Raven are outstanding too.

I used the Ryker for 3 years and it hasn't aged well. The strap loops have stretched and the bag has deformed.

I now use a combo of the ONA Bowery and Brixton. I use the latter when I need to carry my laptop.

I just bought a Lowepro Format 120 (on offer at the moment from Curry's for £15). I find this to be just the right size.

I ordered the Raven brown directly from Wotancraft, Taipeh.

Shipping with FedEx Priority takes only three days and i had this beautiful bag in my hands.

This is a great bag. The quality is amazing and the most important thing for me: its the perfect size for me.

There si enough place for my sunglasses as well.

I ordered the raven with the shoulder pad from the Ryker because sometimes I have problems with my shoulder also carrying just low weight on them.

I think most Bags ar heavyer than the Q.

I use this bag: Crumpler Proper Roady 2000

But only for a A7 or a film M with a second lens.

Just received the Ryker and love it!  Just the right size for my M system.  Ordering the Raven for the Q, or just carrying camera and lens, and looking forward to it!  Like you, shoulder issues.  My 'drag in the mud' bag will remain the Billingham Hadley small, but for a little more upscale will use the Wotancrafts.  I have some Ona bags but selling off.  They are too stiff.  They look good but a bag needs to feel comfortable besides being functional.  The Wotancraft seems to be a winner, finally!

Will my Q with attached sunshade and the Leica Half Case Protector plus a second battery fit in either the Hadley Digital or Leica Small System Case?

Will my Q with attached sunshade and the Leica Half Case Protector plus a second battery fit in either the Hadley Digital or Leica Small System Case?

I have that setup and I tried the Hadley Digital.  Even at 4 inches wide, I thought it was a tight fit. The small is even thinner.  I returned it as I am trying to minimize any rub wear on the left side top of the camera as I use a hand strap on the right. Some might like the tight fit.  I am now working with a Think Tank Retrospective 6 bag which fits the Q and the protector with room to spare (fabulous bag I might add).  I am thinking about adding a Lumix GX1 with 90mm to the other half of the bag.  I am out of town, and will not know the outcome until later.  I will be in Europe later this year, and thought it might good to have the GX1 with a little range to it.  Happy to answer any questions.

Just wanted to share a find I'd made recently. When I travel, I'll sometimes pack away my Domke bag in a checked suitcase since they mash down pretty well. I'll then bring my M10 and a few lenses in my carry on backpack with my laptop, headphones, etc.. (which is not a photography backpack). I'd been looking for a good padded 'sleeve' for the M10 for a while, and finally found one on Amazon. It fits even with the thumb grip attached. All for $8 USD.
This is the product link https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XJMM65D and the full product description since I'm sure the URL will change for someone reading this years from now.. "LENTION Storage Pouch Bag Case for Accessories (Laptop Power Adapter, Wireless Mouse, Phone Charger, Cellphone, Power Bank, Travel Cable Organizer) - Dark Gray".
Attaching some images so you can see how well this fits (thumb grip is attached in these photos).

I have recently acquired a new Leica Q (with a B+W UV filter). I wanted to share with you the list of accessories that I have purchased, after careful evaluation of my needs and what is available. I am curious as to what everybody else is thinking and using!

      1. Bag: I was looking for a small bag to carry my A around, with an adventurer look. I therefore got the Billingham 72 camera bag: https://billingham.co.uk/collections/camera-bags/products/72?variant=9459276054571
      2. Strap: I actually most of the time carry my camera in hand so I wanted a robust wrist strap. I got this beautiful leather strap from Hardgraft: https://www.hardgraft.com/products/slide-classic
      3. Hood hat/Lens cover: I am not a big fan of the hood hat that comes with the Leica. I went for the OpTech Mini: https://optechusa.com/hood-hat.html
      4. Battery: for my extra battery, I went with the Sigma BP-51
      5. Battery charger: I was looking for a smaller charger that could charge with USB. I pre-ordered the Nitecore NITULQ: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Nitecore-nitulq-Charger-Display-Leica/dp/B0772KJ35V
      6. SD card: I finally I went with the Sandisk Extreme Pro 128Go UHS-I U3.

I hope this is somewhat useful!

So, as you do, I was still on the quest for a perfect day bag for my 2 cameras: The Q and and M7. I have neoprene protectors, but was only taking one or the other out with me at a time and sometimes I still wanted something to put them into (one or both) when not shooting. I want to take both, but am very fussy about the amount I carry. Confused, yup!

I had the Domke F803 but found the lack of padding and the width of the inserts all wrong for the Q and also got sick of adjusting the strap and the bag just generally getting in the way.

I couldn't see a review for this one on the forum when I came across it, so here is the bag:

      http://www.artisan-n-artist.com/product_detail.php?id=271

This bag doesn't seem to have made much of an impact as I couldn't find any reviews or references to it but I think it has really slipped through the cracks of perfect bags for camera weight weenies.

I didn't want to pay the new price ($240, I'm also a tightwad)) and found only one on that auction site for sale anywhere and at a very reasonable price. Adjustable shoulder strap (like the AnA one I have on the Q but wider and more robust) and just the perfect size, great padding and quite unobtrusive. Also it's left/right adjustable so you can have the bag on one side out of the way and the camera on the other and still room for another camera, lens, tablet, filters and spare batteries.

If you have small lenses and want to travel light for the day and compact I think this is perfect! (nb. I have no affiliation with Artisan and Artist, but defo would if they gave me free stuff to review

I think I've finally found the perfect day bag. I shall now have a day of rest.

This is just a FYI post for any Billingham lovers.  I like Billingham a lot. I have a Hadley Pro, and love it. However, its tight when carrying my M and M246 and lenses (normally, a lens on each body and 2 additional).  I picked up the F1.4 and it was better. However, I had trouble getting 2 lenses side by side in the middle with each lens in a foam case. It was also difficult to put the camera body in the F1.4 with a larger lens like the Nocti with the other gear.  I the saw the S4 and picked that up. I had to order it direct from Billingham direct since it I couldn't find it the US.  Turns out, its a fantastic bag for 2 bodies with lenses and 2-3 other lenses.  As you can see in the photo, its wider at the bottom so I can fit everything I need to in the bag and its not much bigger that the F1.4.

I ended up selling the 1.4....

Hi, I've been trawling the web sites for a a new camera bag. I need something relatively small to carry an MP 240 with lens and spare lens (noctilux size), plus enough room for phone and little bits and bobs. Just wondered if any of you had any recommendations. I've looked at Ona bags and not keen on having something looking like a satchel..would like something classic, Quality leather and not bulky. Any suggestions gratefully received.....I'm based in the Uk.

      Thanks.
